Locus Plotter

Motivation :

Composite plots are commonly used to show transcription factor binding profile or tag distribution around regions of interest on the genome. This is a web experiment to visualize ChIP-exo datasets of multiple targets at a single reference point, with an aim to gain insights into binding or co-binding patterns at those sites. For example, this tool allows you to visualize the binding profile of one or more TFs at one of the locus (DNA motif site) where Abf1 prefers to bind in the genome. Simply, if you plot Abf1 ChIP-exo dataset at Abf1 reference point, you expect to see a strong peak or tag distribution on either strands, whereas there would be noise for most other TFs at that same location.
